A wonderful afternoon at Allandale

Last Sunday after many weeks of not meeting, a group of old familiar faces visited Ruthie and Foxy at Allandale. What a wonderful afternoon!

The first task of course, is to decide and organise what might be put onto the plate. I've been baking TimTam's all afternoon, but Mrs Perkins is more adventurous

Ruthie and Foxy are as usual, incredibly welcoming

We all settle into our favourite chairs, looking out at Ruthie's wonderful garden

and prepare to enjoy ourselves immensley. Dad's decided to join us today. The cold must have driven him towards company. He'll have a great time.

Self Congratulations are in order

They are obviously very pleased with themselves as well they might be. A fine morning of planting

A visitor arrives on the scene to check out the morning's work. Chelsea wants a "nice" photo

Much hilarity. Some people don't realise that it's very important business, capturing the right picture

And finally a lovely cuddle from my baby!

There's simply nothing better than diggin in dirt

As I might have already mentioned, it seems that one is the worker bee...

and one is there to give encouragement and praise

But without doubt they are doing a simply splendid job

and we'll all enjoy the fruits of their labour, some sunny day in the future

Aut e Mishan

Chels is home and whilst here she and her father went out to the farm to Chel's piece and did some planting. I think a fun morning was had by the two of them, but by the look of the photos, one was definately the overseer!

Planting trees which hopefully, in the future, will look beautiful and provide shade in our summer heat

Definately Dad does the site inspection, gathers the tools, digs the hole and..... everything really

Welcome back Me!

The last week has been unbelievably busy but I do have some really great things to share with you so I hope you'll enjoy.

Kit's 21st

Chelsea and Kit have been friends since playschool, which if Kit's having his 21st, is some years ago now. Evidently a big surprise was arranged by those who love him, and a bus with many stops ensured that the revellers shared the joy.

He's always been a really great guy, and it seems he just got bigger.

Also celebrating with him and enjoying a short time at home was Inez. Isn't this photo of the two of them just lovely. There's really nothing nicer than to have them visiting the Island after some time off studying.

Photo Books and information

They were only going to stay for a moment but Aunty Mit had to check out a couple of fantastic photo books that were sitting there

and Rory had to try his hand at being cameraman of the year

which didn't work all that well actually
