Great Occasions and Celebrations

The Divine David decided that as Chelsea turned 21 last November, and Ian turned 50 last December, and they are both on Norfolk Island this week, they should enjoy some sort of celebration with their friends for their personal milestones. So he started organising and in the process talked to Aaron Buffett, David Biggs, Sam Sheridan, Sput Douran, Trent Christian and James Partridge. He had James come to Flagstaff for a beast which was then returned as beef. David donated 20 kilos of fish. Sam cooked the fish and chips in his travelling kitchen. Sput looked after the beef which was roasted over a spit. Trent provided the sound gear and excellent music and Aaron and Dids arranged everything else. Dids put a notice on Radio Norfolk inviting everyone to Kingston to the Compound at 5pm then went to Flagstaff at 8am that morning to tell Chelsea to listen to the radio!!!! Later he went to Ian's and told him also!!!! What a man. The organisation was fantastic and the night was incredible. Of course, I couldn't find my camera but Megan Fitz sent me these from off her phone. Aah, the miracles of modern technology.

The cake was huge ~ chocolate sponge with cream icing ~ many compliments were received and much cake was eaten. Well done Hot Crust.
