A trek to Philip Island
National Parks crew waiting for the right time to head out of the pier
Waiting to collect the crew
still waiting. Big suff des dieh
Finally loaded
The rest, residue...
... and remainder
and they're off. They head out to overnight about once every three weeks. Huge, heavy and tiring task, removing weeds from the cliffs and valleys. Usually, they come home absolutely exhausted. This trip was a little more stressful due to the seas. As you can sea, it's no picnic driving out through the Niggerhead in those rollers. Come home safe my lads and lassies.
