Often on Norfolk Island
something happens to one of our people and the whole community feels the
impact. Such was the case when we found out that Archie Bigg wasn’t as well as
he might be. Archie and Celia left for Sydney where he’s having
some treatment. Now Archie is a valued member of the staff of Pinetree Tours and Travel,, and Michael
Prentice had yet another of his brilliant ideas. Pinetree would have a community “Do” for Archie. A walk with
entertainment followed by drinks, a hot meal and more entertainment. An invitation
was posted in the newspapers and word of mouth spread like wildfire. This
morning I visited Sam Sheridan’s home where a hive of activity was buzzing.
As you can see, all are flat out doing exactly what needs to be done. Only one was rude enough to mention that I wasn't dressed to work!
